Soundbaths
Body. Mind. Wellbeing.
I love to provide opportunities where participants can experience the restorative powers of deep relaxation. Through a soundbath experience the sympathetic nervous system releases control, brainwaves shift towards theta, blood pressure drops, breathing slows, and the whole body starts to relax as the parasympathetic nervous system slows processes down. The relaxation response is triggered and all it's associated benefits to the body and mind. It's amazing how good rest is for our general wellbeing.
I run soundbath only sessions, or combined sessions, particularly with Yin Yoga as they go so well together.
These soundbaths are not appropriate for people in their first trimester of pregnancy, for people with pacemakers, anyone with sound triggered epilepsy or other sound sensitivities and for people with some mental health issues. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Monthly Yin Yoga & Sound Session
The antidote to a busy week. Yin Yoga is a meditative and slow practice that helps release tension and stress in the body's deeper connective tissues, fascia and other soft tissues. The passive, longer-held stretches of a Yin practice perfectly complement more active movement preactices and a busy life. Each posture is held for a few minutes, creating the space needed to help you settle and find greater ease, promoting overall balance to body and mind. The practice ends with an extended relaxation, accompanied by the instruments to help you find a deep, restful state.

Monthly Soundbath Relaxation Session
This is a monthly session. Please bring something to ensure your comfort as you lay on the floor for this session. Mats, blankets, cushions, pillows or sleeping bags are encouraged. I gently guide you into a comfortable relaxed state then play the instruments. Nothing of you is expected but to allow the sounds to aid deep relaxation and all it's benefits.
